Exciting news--into the studio!

One of the things I've been pining for the last couple of years has been a studio space in which to have sessions. While I love doing sessions on location, having access to a studio gives me and my clients more options. A few months ago, long-time Lincoln photographer Jim Coop was kind enough to lend me some props for an event I photographed.  This led to some conversations about how he was using his studio and whether he'd be willing to allow me to use his space.  To make this long story short, I'm now renting Jim's studio for client sessions.  I'm excited about the opportunities this opens and the new flexibility it gives me for making photographs.

To help me get used to the new space, I enlisted my daughters' help this week.  As you can see, they did a great job.  Note that Maura's first pose here was her idea, not mine!

I'm currently booking sessions for high school seniors, children, corporate headshots, and weddings.  I don't do props; just clean, simple images that bring out your best.  If you're interested in having photographs made--either on-location or in the studio--feel free to send me a message or call 217-737-7908.  I'd love to make your picture.
