In a departure from our usual fare, here's a little family video I put together for the Thanksgiving holiday.
No, it's not a client project. But it did give me a chance to experiment with some things. Here's a quick rundown:
- Video was recorded at the studio with the Panasonic GH3 (in AVCHD 1080p 24fps) and a GoPro Hero3+ Black
- Alzo Digital Pan-L-Lites provided illumination
- The audio portion of my talking head introduction was recorded with a Rode SmartLav plugged into my iPhone 5, and then synced with the video in Final Cut Pro X
- iSkysoft Video Converter was used to convert the AVCHD video files that came out of GH3 into MOV files that FCPX could handle
So--a fun little experiment that gave me an opportunity to stretch out a little bit.
