High school senior photography has changed a lot in the past 20+ years. Back in the day, you showed up at the school or studio and had a picture made for the yearbook. Now, sessions are more like fashion shoots and can feature studio and location settings, as well as still photography and video.
Kristy Kennedy, writing in the Chicago Tribune, wrote a story in today's edition* that describes the changes. I was interviewed for the story because of my innovative hybrid approach (still photography + video + audio) to senior sessions.
What does a hybrid session look like? Below are a couple of hybrid videos I made for seniors Matthew and Nicole this fall as well as a hybrid engagement session I photographed.
