What's one of the easiest ways for a restaurant to draw new customers? Good photographs that highlight its tantalizing dishes.
Last fall I made some photographs for Kim Forman at Vintage Fare in Lincoln, Illinois. Kim recently moved the restaurant to 600 Broadway, on the opposite corner of the square from my studio. Vintage Fare serves fresh, homemade salads and sandwiches (including a fantastic chicken salad), as well as a different "fare" each day. The restaurant has been a staple in Lincoln for years, and Kim's bringing some new ideas to the new location. Kim also does a great catering business as well--in fact, she catered the grand opening of the studio last summer. She made some fantastic desserts just for the occasion.
Stop by Vintage Fare in Lincoln for lunch some time (Monday through Friday, 11-2), and tell Kim I sent you.
