In conjunction with the 2010 Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival, my friend Kerry Rolewicz is hosting an open house at her studio, 519 Pulaski, on Thursday, August 26, from 6:00 - 10:00 PM.  The Festival officially begins on Friday but we’re kicking things off early the night before.  The open house will feature work by four local artists, including some photographs I’ve made over the past year.

I’ve been working with Kerry to help her prepare prints of her work (see previous post here) and we’re planning to have some available for sale during the weekend.  In addition to the open house on Thursday night, the studio/gallery will be open throughout the weekend to give visitors the opportunity to view and purchase art work.  You can stop by anytime during the following hours:

• Thursday, Aug 26 - Open House - 6-10 PM
• Friday, Aug 27 - Gallery open - 3-6 PM
• Saturday, Aug 28 - Gallery open - Noon-6 PM
• Sunday, Aug 29 - Gallery open - Noon-5 PM

If you attend the open house event, you’ll have an opportunity to view the work on display as well as meet the artists: Kerry, Eric Burton, Michelle McFadden, and me.  The studio is located on “the square” in the heart of downtown Lincoln (map), right in the midst of the Festival action. We’d love to have a chance to meet you–hope to see you there!
